A borehole or private water system is made up of many different components and controls. There are two basic ways to protect a pump from overheating and burning out due to a lack of water:
Flow detection: used either as part of the control unit or a separate flow detection system. When the water flow stops a special electronic pressure switch prevents the pump from operating.
Water level detection probes along with telemetry and other remote monitoring can also be used in tank systems.

specially designed and manufactured for FWT for use in boreholes. Ideal for use as part of a low water level cut-out system for borehole pumps.
